The pro controller scene continues to grow at a rapid pace, and Victrix continues to set that pace with a new Call of Duty collab, the Las Almas Pro BFG wireless controller.

PDP, a San Diego-based professional gaming accessories brand, announced its newest peripheral today. A new colourway on a well-received PlayStation/PC wireless controller, the Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller Las Almas Limited Edition, has been revealed, and it embraces Call of Duty in a black and gold Las Almas limited colourway. Fans of the previous BFG have no fear, it returns with all of the bells and whistles the original controller has, and the change is in the aesthetic.

The Pro BFG Las Almas can be used with the PS4, PS5 or even the PC by utilizing ‘Mode Switch’ functionality, allowing the person behind the sticks the opportunity to change platforms at a whim (if they wanted to). In the CGMagazine review of the original Victrix Pro BFG, David Walters said, “The Victrix Pro BFG controller is a good PS5/PS4/PC controller with some amazing features and the potential to be fantastic once the software is fully uploaded and ready to be used” regarding the peripheral.

  • The Victrix BFG is fully modular. The reversible left module allows for both standard PlayStation stick configurations and offset stick configurations. Fighting game enthusiasts can swap in a Fight Pad module that replaces the right stick with six pad-feeling buttons. Almost everything is modular, on the BFG down to stick caps.
  • Instead of back paddles, the Victrix BFG uses four back buttons that can be mapped to any function. There is also a profile switch button and save feature, which allows multiple people to use control profiles without stepping on each other. Three profiles can be saved at once.
  • Clutch Triggers are a big selling point for tournament-grade controllers, and the BFG boasts 5 different stopping points, from hair triggers to normal and everything in between.
  • Victrix Control Hub Customization PC App allows players to make their controllers as unique as possible. The Control Hub allows players to configure button and EQ settings to tailor to individual needs.

While there is no set-in-stone release date for the Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller Las Almas Limited Edition, pre-orders are live now from the PDP website and will cost adopters $199.99 USD.
