Battlefield has been an immensely popular multiplayer first-person shooter in the past, often one of the most popular games in the genre, and 2042 looks to be continuing that tradition, with futuristic weapon technologies, new on the spot weapon modification tools, several different multiplayer modes, and cross-platform play, so you can destroy all your friends no matter where they’re playing. The game isn’t slated to be released until late November, but a Beta build coming in October might be worth a look for fans of the series.
