February on Disney+ brings new additions from familiar franchises and series that are likely to appeal to audiences ranging from ’70s babies to Gen Z. One highlight is The Muppet Show, a new entry in the long-running franchise arriving Feb. 4. After a turbulent history of cancellations and revivals, performers including Sabrina Carpenter and Maya Rudolph have been cast for the long-awaited return. The special event is scheduled as a one-time-only presentation, unless it proves successful.
Also joining the lineup is E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, the 1982 blockbuster that dominated the box office and remained in theatres for months. Family Guy and American Dad will premiere new-season episodes on Feb. 16 and Feb. 23, respectively, with The Simpsons also returning with new episodes. Morbius, the poorly received Spider-Man spinoff, will arrive on Feb. 28 to close out the month.
