WWE 2K24's Soundtrack Is Curated By Post Malone, Who Will Also Be a DLC Character

Award-winning rapper and musician Post Malone will be curating the soundtrack for the upcoming WWE 2K24, but even more than that he’ll actually be a part of the playable roster.

In a blog post, 2K Games confirmed Malone is the Executive Soundtrack Producer on the game, saying the rapper is “an avowed fan of both WWE and the WWE 2K franchise.

“The secret to a great video game soundtrack is a little something for everyone and for every mood. It gets you excited and it gets you pumped up to play,” said Post Malone. “This has been a total blast. We have a lot of cool ideas, so I’m super excited.”

2K also shared the tracklist for the game, which runs the gamut from pop to rock, and consists of twelve different songs.

  • Post Malone – Chemical;
  • Post Malone – Laugh It Off;
  • 100 gecs – Hand Crushed By A Mallet;
  • Busta Rhymes – Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See;
  • Colter Wall – Motorcycle;
  • Grimes – Genesis;
  • Militarie Gun – Do It Faster;
  • Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs – Big Rig;
  • Speed – Not That Nice;
  • Turnstile – Mystery;
  • Tyler Childers – House Fire;
  • Yeat – Bëttr 0ff.

In addition to being Music Producer, Post Malone will be added as a playable character, purchasable via a DLC pack that will be made available at some point after the game’s launch. 2K ends the blog post by saying additional information on WWE 2K24’s roster, Superstart ratings, DLC, and more will be shared soon.

This news comes just weeks after 2K removed Brock Lesnar from any and all branding of the game, amidst the ongoing lawsuit involving former WWE boss Vince McMahon. Lesnar was removed from all promo material, and has also already been removed from the WWE Supercard mobile game.

WWE 2K24 launches on March 8 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
