In what is most likely the biggest surprise since the game’s announcement, Persona Q gives every character the ability to switch between different Personas. In both Persona 3 and Persona 4 this trait was available only to the two protagonists.
ATLUS uploaded a video that shows Yukiko, Kanji and Aigis switching their respective Personas. By doing this, each Persona will level up differently and learn new skills. This adds a layer to the gameplay that not only makes Persona Q more complex but also helps it stand out from Etrian Odyssey (which it has many similarities with).
Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive that brings together all the main characters from Persona 3 and 4. The title is a dungeon crawler that uses map-making as a means for navigation.
While the game comes out on June 5 in Japan, North American fans will be happy to know it is coming out here sometime in the fall. Be sure to check back to CGM for all the latest Persona Q info.
