Webcams have a place in almost everyone’s lives now, whether you’re creating content, taking meetings from home or the office, or just want to video call your loved ones. Crowning the Best Webcams 2025 as we head into the new year had CGM taking a lot into consideration.
So much has changed with webcams in recent years, with these devices gaining new features, coming down in price, and their overall quality improving drastically. Some of the features we looked at when naming our Best Webcam 2025 included the overall quality of the camera, the added features, capture, software and more.
Below we have shared excerpts from some of our webcam reviews from this past year, giving you the best devices to kick off the new year and crowning our Best Webcams 2025.
Logitech MX Brio Webcam
The Logitech MX Brio touts itself as a webcam that can give you a great streaming experience or a great camera for collaboration. It is capable of 4K/30fps or 1080/60fps video at f/2.0 and connects to a number of different software solutions to match your needs. In the box, you get the Logitech MX Brio with a mounting clamp for your monitor, a USB-C to USB-C cable and the documentation, including a choice between a one-month Adobe Creative Cloud Membership or a two-month Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan (Photoshop/Lightroom).
The Logitech MX Brio retails for $199.99 USD, which is $100 cheaper than the Facecam Pro or Kiyo Pro Ultra and the same price as the Vision S. It is a fantastic value for a 4K camera, and its quality is the best that Logitech has ever offered. I would argue that, with the work from home audience in mind, that a $200 purchase isn’t worth the flex of a better picture taking up 3 inches of your scream in a meeting room.
The Logitech MX Brio is a great quality camera, built for two separate audiences and, with its various software connections, can be used in a lot of different ways. Combine that with one of the lowest prices among top-tier webcams, and you have a solid option in this device.

OBSBOT Meet 4K Camera
The OBSBOT Meet 4K contains a 1/2.8” Sony sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, capable of 4K/30 or 1080p/60 video with 4x zoom and a field of view up to 85 degrees. It can be set to have auto or manual focus via the OBSBOT Center software (which we will dig into in a moment), and it has two onboard omnidirectional mics with noise reduction.
At $199 USD, the OBSBOT Meet 4K is considerably cheaper than the competition that I listed above which, given its comparable quality, makes it an excellent buy. It’s a compact camera that won’t get in the way in your setup and will pack a big punch in terms of its overall quality. The fact that it also has a worthy software solution puts it among my top choices for a webcam in all categories.
The OBSBOT Meet 4K is a great camera in a very small package. It has great quality, solid software that has only gotten better over time and a price point that won’t break the bank. It is not a perfect camera, but what it does well, it does really well.

Insta360 Link Webcam
The Insta360 Link sports a 1/2“ sensor with an F/1.8 aperture, making it good for lower light conditions. It is capable of 4K/30fps and 1080p/60fps resolutions and has a Field of View between 67 and 79.5 degrees (26mm lens equivalent), which is a bit lower than I would want it to be for when you are sitting at your desk using the camera, but not so bad for when you are up and on the move. It is able to autofocus as close as 10cm and has a dual microphone system for noise-cancelling.
The Insta360 Link retails for $299 USD, which is slightly cheaper than its largest competitor in the space, OBSBOT, with all the functionality the competition offers and then some. Their image quality alone would make their price point fair, with the Elgato Facecam Pro and Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra coming in at the same price. So, the question becomes whether you would use all of the features an AI webcam offers to make it worth your money. If you would use even a couple of them, you can do no better than picking up an Insta360 Link.
