NPCs are an important part of video games, and that’s especially true in Fortnite Season 4. In this season, the NPCs play different roles. Some can give you Mythic and exotic weapons in exchange for Gold; some you can Hire, and some you can’t. This guide will help you know which NPC characters you can hire in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4.
In Fortnite, the standard rule for solo matches is that all the other players out there are your enemies. You’re on your own, and you don’t have any teammates to help you. But even if you can’t find any human friends to play with, you can get some NPCs to join your squad and help you fight.
You’ll need to dole out 100 gold bars if you want to secure the services of an NPC to fight alongside you – but thankfully, gold bars aren’t too hard to come by. You can find them in chests, by defeating opponents and in Legendary Chests. Sometimes you’ll even receive them as a reward for completing Bounties. Once you’ve amassed a healthy stack of gold bars, keep in mind that not just any old NPC can be hired – only specific ones.

- Castaway Jonesy (Southeast side building, Fort Jonesy)
- Jonesy the First (Northeast side building, Fort Jonesy)
- Relaxed Fit Jonesy (inside the northwest building. Fort Jonesy)
- Fishstick (inside the Sticks)
- Meowscles (west side of Reality Falls)
- Stash’d (northwest side workshop in Chonker’s Speedway)
- Kit (west side of Reality Tree)
- Cryptic (on Airship, Rave Cave)
These are the NPCs you can hire to help you in a fight in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4. If you are looking for a companion, look no further; these NPCs are always ready and willing to help, if you give them the required Gold bars. Remember, these NPCs spawn in the exact same location every match, but if you don’t find them, that means either someone killed them or hired them before you. In that case, don’t worry; you can find that NPC again in the next match.
