Coming off the “Keigh3” events (State of Play, Summer Game Fest, Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase) and all the video games that came this past month, we look ahead to all the new video games releasing in July 2022.
Like other summer months historically speaking, this July is a much calmer month but there are some big video games that fans of a certain franchise will be excited to get their hands on this month. The first big release is the now available racing simulator, F1 22, turn based-game, Digimon: Survive, and Nintendo Switch exclusive, Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Other significant releases include PowerWash Simulator, As Dusk Falls, Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, and Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp.
As for the smaller video games, this month you can check out the return of the KLONOA return on modern platform with KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series, The Legend of Zelda-inspred Indie title known simply as XEL, the Nintendo Switch port of F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch, and the highly anticipated release of Stray which is launching day and date on PlayStation Plus Extra. Also releasing this month is the PC VR port of Moss: Book 2, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 on Xbox and Switch, the PS4 port of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, and River City Saga: Three Kingdoms.
