Amanda the Adventurer 3 is joining its indie horror predecessors on consoles later this month.
After launching on PC last November, Amanda the Adventurer 3 is finally coming to consoles on May 28! Now players on XBOX, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch can experience the finale of this indie horror series that started in April 2023.

Amanda the Adventurer is publisher DreadXP‘s entry into the creepy kids’ entertainment “genre,” standing next to similar titles like Five Nights at Freddy’s and Poppy Playtime. The core of each game is an escape room-style puzzle experience where you use information from VHS tapes to learn more about your physical surroundings.
The Amanda the Adventurer games follow Riley Park as they investigate the secrets of the strange, interactive TV series Amanda the Adventurer on VHS tapes in their Aunt Kate’s attic. The second game saw Riley escape the attic and head to Kensdale Public Library, and for the third entry, Riley is exploring the Hameln Entertainment facility to solve the final mysteries of the haunted TV show and get closure on Riley’s, Aunt Kate’s, and Amanda’s stories.
While DreadXP published the Amanda the Adventurer games, the development team is MANGLEDmaw, a Canadian development studio based out of Hamilton, Ontario. Amanda the Adventurer is their main series, and since it has ended, there hasn’t been any concrete mention of what their next project will be.
Amanda the Adventurer 3 will be available on XBOX Series X|S, XBOX One, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 this May 28, with the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition especially designed for that console’s hardware for “increased performance.”
If you want to try the games out now, every Amanda the Adventurer game is available now on PC.
