From sewing dresses to managing an island filled with bunnies, Wholesome Games returns to host the Wholesome Direct 2026, presenting many indie titles to anticipate.
Returning once again during the season of game announcements, Wholesome Games presents the Wholesome Direct 2026 across YouTube and Twitch, showcasing many relaxing game trailers, world premieres, and release dates. As the direct kicks off, 53 games were showcased from many motivated developers and publishers for many to anticipate, and to help you get caught up with ease, here’s a list of all the games that were announced at the Wholesome Direct 2026.
Before we list the announced games, here are some highlights from Wholesome Direct 2026 for gamers to keep their eyes on.
Dressmaker

Kicking off the Wholesome Direct 2026, Dressmaker invites players to design their dream dress and fulfill their client’s wishes with their trusty sewing machine. Stepping into the small town, players can craft their dress with a wide range of fabrics and accessories, plan their design in their sketchbook, meet many people from the town looking to fill their wardrobe, and much more. Developed by Cozy Lives and published by Free Lives, Dressmaker launches on Steam in September 2026.
In The Drift

Directed by Daniel Fineberg, one of the co-creators of Sable, In The Drift follows a young woman named Luna, who is starting her new job as a telecoms engineer in space. As Luna solves problems in the morning and spends the evening with her crew on the ship, In the Drift is about trying to be a good person and finding hope in a world that is drifting apart. Developed by Daniel Fineberg and friends, In The Drift is coming soon on Steam.
Usagi Shima

Embark on a journey to transform an abandoned island into a cozy paradise for many bunnies in Usagi Shima, featuring a hand-drawn and traditional animated art style. Developed by studio rabbiko and published by Wholesome Games Presents, players are tasked with decorating the island with toys, plants, and buildings to attract 30+ unique bunnies.
Additionally, players can build friendships with the bunnies, dress the bunnies with cute hats, take snapshots to build a photo album, and much more. Not to mention, the title is synced with the player’s time of day, bringing a matching ambience to the island. During Wholesome Direct 2026, the team revealed Usagi Shima will launch on Steam in October 2026. Currently, the relaxing title is available on iOS and the Google Play Store.
Hidden Folks 2

From the developers behind the 2017 title Hidden Folks, Hidden Folks B.V. announces Hidden Folks 2 during Wholesome Direct 2026. Stepping into the black-and-white searching game, the sequel will feature more jokes and mouth sounds, various quality-of-life improvements, and a hand-drawn landscape across many new themes. Hidden Folks 2 launches in 2027 on Steam, itch.io, iOS / App Store / Apple Arcade, and Google Play Store.
Beastfolk Barber

Stepping into a city where beastfolk and humans live together, players take on the role of a barber in Beastfolk Barber, cutting their clients’ hair and conversing to help them embrace who they truly are. Developed by Safe Flight Games and published by SIGONO, Beatfolk Barber is coming soon to Steam.
PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

Developed by teaisfortoby, PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE follows a college grad named Louise, moving back to his childhood home. However, being chronically ill, Louise is struggling to find suitable healthcare and finds himself not recognizing the streets he grew up on. But one day, he was attacked by a mysterious entity that could only communicate through a cassette player. With the cassette player by his side, he must communicate with the entity and the townsfolk to learn the truth behind the attack. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE is coming soon to Steam and Itch.io.
Momento

In Momento, players decorate their room, and the items they choose to display will have an impact throughout the story. As they enter their room, players will choose a toy that represents their dream. As they follow their dream into adulthood, they will explore various settings and themes, and the importance of their beloved treasures throughout their journey.
With so many possibilities, the title features 17 rooms and six endings for players to discover, plus a Creative Mode for decorating for fun. Developed by Fat Alien Cat and Nomo Studio, and published by Silver Lining Interactive, Momento launches today on Steam during the Wholesome Direct 2026. For console players, the cozy title will launch on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on June 30, 2026.
Tales of Seikyu

Set on the island of Seikyu, Tales of Seikyu invites players to grow their farm, restore their ancestral home, build their friendship with the villagers, and transform into various spirits to explore the world. With the title in early access, the farming life sim will enter Version 1.0 on June 11, 2026, introducing the conclusion to the main story with Chapter 3, the new yokai transformation, three new romanceable villagers, a marriage system, a new festival, and more. Developed by ACE Entertainment and published by Fireshine Games, Tales of Seikyu is available on Steam.

Before wrapping up, Wholesome Games has shared that merchandise sales from Wholesome Direct 2026 will go toward their charity partner, Transgender Law Center. Founded in 2002, the organization advocates for the self-determination of all people, with its history of victories for the trans movement, ranging from trans workers’ rights in Macy v. Holder to protections for trans students under federal statutory and constitutional law in Whitaker v. Kenosha United School District.
Alongside their victories, Transgender Law Center offers many programs, including Positively Trans, Disability Project, Black Trans Circle, and Gender Justice Leadership Programs.
