ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission Reveals PS VR Release Date

Astro Bot Rescue Mission, a game developed by Japan Studio and published by Sony just announced its release date for the PS VR.

Nicolas Doucet, the creative director at Japan Studio said the game will be released on October 3.

Created exclusively for PS VR, Astro Bot Rescue Mission is a platformer that has 360 degree and VR gameplay. As a spaceship captain, the player’s mission is to take on every level to find his lost crew members.

While facing towering bosses and navigating each level, players can lean around corners in-game while they remain seated in real life. This movement would allow a better view on the action and even let players discover secret paths.

Players will run and jump through jungles, faces, beaches, and city skylines all the while facing original enemies and encountering traps.

Using a Dualshock 4 controller, players will also be able to use a hook shot, a water gun, ninja stars, and a few special weapons to duke it out with their enemies. Players can even use these weapons in combination with jumps and punches to blast off enemies standing in their way.
