Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed, Batmobile Battle Mode Teaser Released 1

The highly anticipated finale to Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham series got some new news today, and not all of it is good.

First, Rocksteady has delayed Batman: Arkham Knight until sometime in 2015. In a pre E3 presentation, they mentioned that they needed more time to “deliver the awesome level of quality that Batman fans and gamers expect.”

Also shown off today was that the Batmobile can transform into a tank. In it’s “battle mode” the vehicle expands to look a bit more like the tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight films. It also pushes out a giant cannon out of its back that also has an anti-armour and surface to air vulcan gun, as well as a a compartment that fires missiles and a cannon the fires non-lethal rounds.

Rocksteady promises that they’ll show gameplay footage of the Batmobile’s battle mode next week at E3.
