Blizzard just announced that their diversity and inclusion space will be returning to this year’s BlizzCon.

A likely reference to the Nexus in Heroes of the Storm, which has a melange of the heroes we all know and love from Blizzard’s games, this year’s Inclusion Nexus will be a meet-up space with staff and guest speakers, as well as organized activities.

It will help shed light on Blizzard’s very own initiatives through the staff sharing their own experiences with inclusivity. To create more community dialogue, there will be activities like trivia about game lore and a graffiti wall where attendees can voice their experiences.

Tables will also set up by key Blizzard groups, which include the LGBTQ Council, Women’s Advisory Council, and the Blizzard Veterans Group.

Blizzard states that it prides itself in having a community whose greatest strength is its global diversity. “We value how our players and staff come from a wide array of backgrounds. We’re at our best when we embrace our inner geeks together while at the same time embracing everything else that makes each of us unique,” the announcement read.

The company will also be looking at their core values, which includes how every voice matters, thinking globally, and leading responsibly. Blizzard hopes to show how welcoming their community can be with embracing diversity, and see the Inclusion Nexus as another way to do that.

The exact location of the Inclusion Nexus is currently unknown, but attendees should stay tuned for the BlizzCon 2018 map reveal later this month.
