Disney and Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World, commemorating tickets going on sale for the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The new TV spot trailer doesn’t really show us anything all that new, but does seem to focus on the relationship between Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), who now serves as the President of the United States. There’s a bit of high-flying action for Captain America as well, including one particularly memorable scene where he uses the vibranium shield to cut through the wing of a plane.
In Brave New World, Sam is thrust into the middle of an international plot, directly after meeting with Ross — a plot that results in the president turning into the Red Hulk.
Tickets for Captain America: Brave New World have officially gone on sale everywhere tickets are sold, with the film hitting theaters on February 14. Make sure to get them early, while you can.
Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah (Luce, The Cloverfield Paradox) and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. Alongside Mackie and Ford, the film stars Danny Ramirez (Look Both Ways), Shira Haas (Bodies), Carl Lumbly (Doctor Sleep), Xosha Roquemore (Cherish the Day), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Liv Tyler (Armageddon), and Tim Blake Nelson (Old Henry).
This kicks off what promises to be a pretty big year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, promising to close the book on Phase 5. Two other films are planned for release this year, with the Thunderbolts on May 2 and the long-awaited The Fantastic 4: First Steps on July 25. Sprinkles alongside those are a few different television series, including Daredevil: Born Again (March 4), Eyes of Wakanda (August 6), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December).
Captain America: Brave New World opens in theaters worldwide on February 14, 2025.
