As the months get colder, electronics news gets hot with the CES 2025 showcase, and as the biggest electronics show of the year nears, here’s all the info needed.
The Consumer Electronics Show 2025 (CES 2025) is on the horizon, and this January the largest technology conference of its kind is set to reveal innovation for the year. Last year, there was a heavy focus on AI development, with big tech companies like Apple and Google holding their own showcases to give consumers everywhere a look at what had in store for 2024, and for 2025, consumers will see how far that innovation has come.
Aside from AI developments, there has been rumours that HDMI 2.2 is on its way providing display users a higher resolution and faster refresh rates to TV sets globally. Advancing on the AI developments, there are also rumours that AI wearable technology will also be unveiled at the CES 2025 showcase providing nifty gadgets that deploy AI tech presented from the likes of ChatGPT and OpenAI everywhere consumers go.
Last year, CGMagazine was impressed by many innovations presented on the CES 2024 show floor, and even automobiles have made a big impact right from the show floor in years past, and Volvo has already reserved a spot on the calendar. This year innovations will continue to be revealed from tech companies that have RSVP’ed for the show.
CES 2025 Confirmed Companies in Attendance
- Nvidia: CEO Jensen Huang will deliver a keynote on January 6, 2025 at 9:30 p.m. EST, a main presenter of CES 2025.
- Sony: The presenting sponsor of the CES Creator Space, will deliver a keynote on January 6, 8 p.m. EST, they will have many booths on the show floor.
- Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Google and HP: Other big companies attending the showcase.
- Intel, AMD: Companies with scheduled keynotes, Intel has an AI centred keynote on January 6, 11:30 a.m. EST, and AMD at 2:00 p.m. EST.
- Aside from the big companies, consumers can use the nifty official CES 2025 advanced search tool to check if their favourite electronics company is attending.
Aside from rumours and presenters, fans should note that CES 2025 takes place from Monday, Jan. 6, through Jan. 10. It’s worth mentioning that on Jan. 6, the show floor will not be open, but there will be numerous presentations on technology. The official show opens its doors on Jan. 7.
The CES 2025 event will be held at the Venetian Expo and the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., from Jan. 7–10, with pre-event keynotes taking place at the Mandalay Bay Casino on Jan. 6.
