At this year’s Computex, Corsair, a leader in PC gaming peripherals, unveiled their new MAKR 75 Barebones Keyboard Kit and the Corsair Web Hub software.
A developer and manufacturer of high-performance gaming peripherals—including headsets, keyboards, mice and more—Corsair introduced a new concept aimed at its custom keyboard community: the MAKR 75 Barebones Keyboard Kit and the Corsair Web Hub. When used together, the two offer a purpose-built, web-based interface designed to simplify the customization process for users building their own DIY keyboards.
“We truly believe that assembling an ultra-personalized DIY keyboard doesn’t need to be a difficult task reserved only for the most hardcore keyboard enthusiasts,” said Tobias Brinkmann, vice-president and general manager of gaming peripherals. “The MAKR 75 was developed around the concept of an intuitive, layer-by-layer building process that makes the satisfying task of designing and assembling your perfect keyboard as simple as possible.”

The custom keyboard building process is now even more straightforward thanks to the Corsair Web App, which allows users to remap keys, record custom macros, set RGB lighting effects and more—all through a web-based interface, with no software installation required.
The days of choosing between a time-consuming custom-built keyboard and a pre-built gaming model may be over with the MAKR 75. It features screw-in stabilizers, 8000Hz hyper-polling for near-instantaneous input response, eight layers of sound dampening, gasket mounting and additional enhancements through optional add-on modules.
With its 75 per cent form factor, the MAKR 75 Barebones Kit offers ample space for users to install knobs, switches and other custom components—without worrying about running out of room.
Corsair continues to deliver exciting new PC technology that targets gamers, enthusiasts, and anyone who values a personalized computing experience.
