Crunchyroll Mega Fans will soon have access to 15+ new exclusive games and more on the way on Crunchyroll Game Vault.

While we know that Crunchyroll has the largest database of anime titles on one streaming platform, they have been expanding in another department in the last year. The orange anime streamer will be introducing 15 exclusive titles to Crunchyroll Game Vault—unlimited access to a growing library of premium mobile games for Mega Fan members worldwide. Three of those titles went live on the Game Vault as of Thursday, June 27th. This is part of their expansive plan for anime fans to enjoy a great lineup of anime games/visual novels, along with the pleasure of watching their anime series.

The three new titles that are currently out now in Game Vault include the turn-based role-playing game Battle Chasers: Nightwar, the kaiju-inspired beat em’ up Dawn of the Monsters, and the thrilling puzzle-platformer Evan’s Remains. Each of these titles is now available on mobile devices through the App Store, Google Play, and Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll Game Vault launched in November 2023 and now has a library of 14 titles exclusively for Crunchyroll members at the Mega and Ultimate Fan tiers. Crunchyroll Games also publishes free-to-play titles available outside of the Premium Membership, including Street Fighter: Duel and One Punch Man: World.

Some other highlighted upcoming games consisted of the award-winning rhythm roguelike Crypt of the NecroDancer, METROIDvania-adventure 9 Years of Shadow and action-adventure title based on the hit anime RWBY: Arrowfell and more. Crypt of the NecroDancer will be coming to mobile, fully updated to support more devices. Additionally, DLC previously unavailable on mobile—SYNCHRONICITY and Hatsune Miku—will be on the platform for the first time!

Joining the wonderful games list are the visual novels that kicked off many hit-series like STEINS;GATE and Corpse Party. Crunchyroll was proud to announce their partnership with visual novel pioneer Mages to bring these beloved anime franchises to Game Vault. Game Vault will also feature two visual novels for cyberpunk thriller PSYCHO-PASS: MANDATORY HAPPINESS and romantic comedy The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer.

“Bringing visual novels to Crunchyroll’s game lineup is another example of how we super-serve our fans with entertainment that deepens their love of anime,” said EVP of Emerging Business of Crunchyroll, Terry Li. “Like manga, visual novels are a source material for hit anime and often expand on beloved series. It is important to offer that content to our audience as part of their membership.”
