It’s that time of year, Sony Days of Play 2026 has arrived! Fans can look forward to big sales on PlayStation 5 with games, accessories, PS Plus freebies, and more starting tomorrow.
Sony and PlayStation have uncorked a wealth of new information surrounding plans for the Days of Play 2026 celebration. Thankfully, fans will not have to wait long as the celebration starts tomorrow, May 27. Like last year’s Days of Play 2025, Sony will provide major discounts on a slew of accessories and software for players to stay in the game (and out of the heat) all Summer long. On top of big software discounts, Sony is also cutting prices on its PlayStation VR 2 headsets for the 2026 celebration, as well as accessories, straight from PlayStation Direct.
Days of Play 2026 – PlayStation 5 Console and Accessory Discounts
- $100 USD off PlayStation VR2
- $50 USD off Pulse Explore wireless earbuds
- $40 USD off Pulse Elite wireless headset
- $30 USD off DualSense Edge wireless controller
- $30 USD off Access controller
- Up to $20 USD off DualSense wireless controllers
- Various discounts on PS5 first-party games such as Ghost of Yōtei, Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.
In addition to these notable discounts from the PlayStation Direct store, a huge selection of games will be on sale on the PlayStation Store, and they will be listed on the Days of Play 2026 website starting tomorrow. If last year was any consolation, many quality titles will be discounted in the celebration window from May 27 until June 10.
Days of Play 2026 – PlayStation Plus Additions & Freebies
First off, PlayStation revealed the upcoming titles to be added to PlayStation Plus in June, and they’re bringing Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to the service at no extra charge. All three titles give fans something new to dive into: Grounded Fully Yoked Edition brings backyard survival chaos; Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 tows shameless family fun to the equation, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide adds a bloody crucible of countless killing to June.
On top of the June additions, Days of Play 2026 is celebrating fans by leaving EA Sports FC 26 on the docket for June (and maybe to coincide with the World Cup Tournament). So, fans who are enjoying their time on the pitch will have until June 16 to keep putting shots on goal. Additionally, fans will have until Tuesday, June 2, to add Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols to their game library (and they will stay there if claimed). The following exclusive packs will be given to every PlayStation Plus subscriber, at no extra charge, for Days of Play 2026 celebrations!
