Along with this announcement comes 30 new programs to the DAZN platform. The previous programming included the NatWest 6 Nations Championship, top European Soccer leagues, BelN Sports, the 24/7 NFL Network, Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League, FIFA Basketball, WTA Tennis and MotoGP programs. On top of all of these features, DAZN users are able to access every live game of the 2018-19 NFL season. This includes pre-season, regular season, the playoffs and next year’s Super Bowl in Atlanta. Roku users are now able to access all of these programs through the DAZN streaming service.
“This is another exciting day for us as we continue to increase the access to high-level sports content to Canadians, and we get to do it with a great partner like Roku,” said Alex Rice, Managing Director for Rights and Strategic Development at DAZN. “Roku streaming players and TVs are fantastic additions to our growing portfolio of platform partners, and we’re pleased to be offering sports fans across Canada even more choice in how they consume the sports they love.”
DAZN is the first global sports streaming service and is currently available in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Japan and Canada. The service launched in Canada in July of 2017 and is currently the only streaming service that allows NFL fans to watch every live game of the 2018-19 season and the NFL RedZone.
