Soon to be available will be the Dead Island Definitive Edition for home consoles and PC.
The Definitive Edition will come with both Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide with some graphical upgrades all around.
Deep Silver promises Dead Island fans the chance to experience Banoi and its zombie infestation with better textures, photorealistic lighting, anti-aliasing, motion blur, new shaders and better models. Also included is a new game UI to create a consistency between Dead Island and Riptide. They’ll include the power fists power-up, an unofficial mod from the PC version that was a particular fan-favourite.
The Dead Island Definitive Edition is also supposed to support four-player co-op and for PS4, remote-play and share-play.
The Dead Island Definitive Edition will also feature Dead Island Retro Revenge and an exclusive theme for PS4 owners the pre-order digitally.
Dead Island Definitive Edition will launch physically on May 31 for PS4, Xbox One and PC at $39.99, however you can also digitally purchase the individual definitive versions of Dead Island and Riptide separately for $19.99 each.
