Digital Extremes, the developer of Warframe and the upcoming Soulframe, has tons planned for Summer Game Fest 2026, including content for their new game, Soulframe.
As Warframe celebrates its 13th anniversary, developer Digital Extremes is bringing tons of new experiences for old and new fans as part of Summer Game Fest coming later this week. There are plenty of things to see and do both online and on-site in Los Angeles between June 4 – 8, so we’ve put together everything Digital Extremes has going on so you won’t miss it, especially the brand-new look at Soulframe we’ll be getting during Summer Game Fest.
Soulframe is a total flip of Warframe‘s style, but still shares a lot of similarities as a free-to-play action-adventure game. Instead of sci-fi biomachine-esque characters, players will take control of the Envoy, who is a warrior using Fey magic. The setting of Soulframe is more medieval fantasy as well, with a seemingly dense magic system to mirror that of Warframe‘s abilities.

Women-Led Games Summer Showcase – Thursday, June 4 @ 4 P.M. PST
Warframe Creative Director Rebecca Ford and Community Director Megan Everett will be featured as guest hosts during Women-Led Games on Thursday, shining the spotlight on games developed by women-led and majority-women teams. This showcase will include trailers for Warframe and Soulframe content, and can be watched on the Women-Led Games‘ and The Game Awards‘ YouTube and Twitch Channels.
Summer Game Fest Showcase – Friday, June 5 @ 2 P.M. PST
We will get to see the world premiere of a brand new Soulframe trailer as part of the Summer Game Fest showcase, which will be streamed on The Game Awards‘ YouTube and Twitch Channels. If your Twitch account is linked to a Warframe account, you can earn a free Dante Warframe Twitch Drop if you watch the full broadcast for 30 minutes.
ARK/8 Fashion Collaboration & Pop Up – June 5-8, 11 A.M. – 9 P.M. PST
Warframe is collaborating with ARK/8 to host a Pop Up shop with a few different events over a few days, including gifts and giveaways. All purchases of Warframe content over $150 USD will receive 1025 Platinum in Warframe. Any exclusives during the Pop Up shop will be available on the ARK/8 website at a later date. Here is an activity schedule for each day of the ARK/8 Fashion Collaboration, located at 115 S La Brea Ave in Los Angeles.
- Friday @ 7 p.m. PST – Warframe Trivia Quiz
- To kick off the first evening of the pop-up, ARK/8 will hold a trivia quiz where the winners can win an item from the Warframe apparel collection.
- Saturday + Sunday @ 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. PST – Apparel Customization
- Attendees can get their apparel customized with their gamertag/username by an artist during this time.
- Monday @ 12 p.m. PST – ARK/8 Simulacrum – Test Your Skill IRL
- A set of carnival-inspired mastery challenges in ARK/8 with real-world rewards. Attendees get 25 shots and a secondary weapon at their disposal.
Summer Game Fest Play Days Cafe – June 6-8, 9 A.M. – 5 P.M. PST
In celebration of Warframe‘s 13th anniversary, there will be an exclusive cafe and coffee shop on the Summer Game Fest Play Days campus and Cognoscenti Coffee Roasters. The area will include photo booths for both Warframe and Soulframe, themed beverages, giveaways, and more. The 13th customer of the day will get a special in-game item for Warframe, which we don’t have details on just yet. All Play Days attendees will also receive a closed Alpha playtest code for Soulframe Preludes with the official Summer Game Fest swag bag.
