Dishonored 2 Free Trial Officially Available

Dishonored 2 Free Trial Officially Available 1

On Monday of this week, Bethesda announced a free trial of Dishonored 2 was set to come later this week. Well, that day has finally arrived. Today, April 6, the free trial is now available for download to get a glimpse of the wonders that lie in Dishonored 2.

As everyone knows, free trials do not act as full versions. Do not download it expecting to traverse through the entire game without paying, as you will be vastly disappointed. Instead, Bethesda revealed that players would be able to enjoy the first three missions of the game. In those missions, players can choose to go on the adventure with either Corvo Attano (the Royal Protector) or Empress Emily Kaldwin.

However, although the free trial will end after the first three missions of the campaign, if any players want to continue they can purchase the full version thereafter. When doing so, they will keep the save data from the trial (continuing right where they left off). Dishonored 2 was released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. As such, Bethesda has given all gamers access to the trial version.

For PlayStaition 4 users, it can be retrieved from the PSN Store; Xbox One console owners can download it from the Microsoft Store; Finally, PC fans can find it on Steam. For those who have not, it is a great idea to invest some time into this highly favourable extravaganza.

Several major video game review sites have raved about the experiences in Dishonored 2. It is an action-adventure, stealth video game with supernatural elements. Several updates since its release (as that seems to be the theme nowadays)  also enhanced the experience. However, it will not be everyone and there is not a better way to find out if it is, then to play the first couple of hours free of charge.
