Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s new free-to-play update, Tales of Agrabah, brings the sands of Aladdin to the Valley with new characters, quests, and more.
As 2025 continues to steamroll ahead, Disney Dreamlight Valley has released its latest free update, adding Aladdin, Jasmine and an Agrabah market to the Valley today. Fans will also notice that, aside from the new free content, Disney has deployed a new realm, quality-of-life fixes and a new Star Path for unlockable goodies. A trailer has also been released to accompany the update, which can be seen below.
The Tales of Agrabah update brings a new realm door to Disney Dreamlight Valley, transporting players to the sands of an Agrabah market. Fans can dress for the occasion, donning Agrabah garb to protect against the desert heat and potential sandstorms.
A mysterious artifact has gone awry, unleashing sandstorms and inclement weather upon the market, and it’s up to the player to stop it before the market is reduced to rubble. Fans will meet iconic Aladdin characters, Aladdin and Jasmine, who will help prevent the catastrophe.
After enlisting Aladdin and Jasmine to stop the inclement weather, they both join the Valley as villagers with unique friendship questlines and rewards (just like the villain Jafar before them). Jasmine specifically will request aid in rediscovering her memories of the Valley. Scrooge McDuck also plays a part in Tales of Agrabah, and players will be required to sneak into his vault with a new stealth mini-game introduced in the update (along with new wares available at his store).
