Divinity: Original Sin had its start as a Kickstarter, followed by the exceptional success of the sequel, Divinity: Original Sin 2. Now comes Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition.
Beginning May 16, players with Xbox Game Preview will get to embark on a grand RPG adventure in Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition. They will have special access to the first three hours of gameplay for free. They can cast devastating spells, perfect their combat skills and party it up with their companions as they roleplay and make difficult choices in a world controlled by the Divine Order.
After the three hours are up, players will have the option to purchase and unlock the First Act of the game, which is about 20 hours of adventuring. In addition, they will be able to pick up from the progress made during the special access preview when the game fully launches.
Customize your own character, interact with memorable NPCs and have fun in either single-player or cooperative multiplayer mode. In this world of magic, the possibilities are limitless, as players are invited to master the elements, hone their crafting skills and forge friendships and rivalries while on a quest to divinity.
While the exact date has not been announced, Bandai Namco said the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will be available physically and digitally in the Americas in August 2018.
