Award-winning RPG Divinity: Original Sin II is coming to XBox One and PlayStation 4 consoles this August.

Bandai Namco announced the news in a press release and the company will be in charge of bringing the Larian Studios-developed-game to home consoles. The game is a turn-based fantasy RPG that is set in a medieval world and lets you play with friends via its online co-op.

While no specific release date was given, this marks the first time that a Divinity: Original Sins games have appeared anywhere other than PC. Founder and CEO of Larian Studios Swen Vincke said that securing Bandai Namco as a publisher was key in the decision to port the game to PlayStation 4 and XBox One.

“It was very important to us to have DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN 2 distributed by a team that understands how to bring RPGs to a broad audience. With Dark Souls and The Witcher, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment demonstrated they know how to do exactly that and so I’m very happy we’ll have their support.”

Divinity: Original Sin II was initially released last year on PC after it completed a successful Kickstarter campaign that saw them raise over $2 million from over 40,000 backers. Since then it has become a frequent top seller on the Steam Store and was last years highest reviewed PC game on review aggregate site Metacritic, with a score of 93.
