BioWare has announced that the Dragon Age: The Veilguard will have a timed trial available to EA Play subscribers across Xbox, Playstation, and PC, starting today.
With the holiday right around the corner, BioWare has released a timed trial version of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, granting the players five hours of access to the game to dip their toes into the fantasy RPG before they can purchase the game at a discounted price. The time trial will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC starting today.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the latest instalment to the beloved Dragon Age franchise, as you take on the role of Rook, who you can customize, and embark on a journey with your mentor, Varric, and his team to stop Elven gods from destroying the world.
With the release of the timed trial, the players will be granted five hours of playtime from the customization to fighting alongside Varric in Minrathous. In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, your team is on a mission to stop Solas’ tumultuous ritual, which threatens to flood the world with demons that could cause massive devastation. As you embark on your journey, you will meet a few of Rook’s companions that can open up many new combat options as you progress through the trial and if you do not spend too long in the Character Creator section, you may get as far as recruiting the Veil Jumper Bellara, the Elven artifact expert.

If you are heavily into the Character Creator but don’t want to cut into your five-hour trials, you can use the stand-alone Character Creator app to create your Rook from the start. With the app, you can take your time to bring your vision to life without needing to worry about a time limit. After creating your Rook, you can import your creations into the timed trial by simply selecting the ‘import’ button from the Character Creator screen in Dragon Age: The Veilguard and use any of the pre-created Rooks from the same device/console.
Before you embark on your adventure in the timed trial of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, EA has released a couple of guides to help the players understand the progression, combat, and accessibility options. With an option to play as a Mage, Rogue, or Warrior, you can play the game your way from adjusting the difficulty to the skill tree that you can respec anytime in case you like to try out a new technique.
