Techland has unveiled its ambitious future plans for the ongoing hit zombie-riddled franchise, Dying Light, and according to the developers it could be big. As part of the 10th-anniversary celebration marking the original Dying Light release on console and PC, Techland has revealed they’re looking to grow the franchise into “multiple unannounced projects” and possibly other forms of media.

In a press statement, Techland says “We’ll continue the series with multiple unannounced projects and will also go beyond video games with new board games, exclusive merchandise, original webcomic series, and more on the horizon. Our goal is to bring the world of Dying Light to even more people,” in the ambitious expansion plans for the franchise. Interestingly enough, Techland doesn’t detail on whether the team would be looking into television or film, but they mention the prospect of board games, and it’s unclear whether they mean Monopoly or TTRPG roleplaying like Dungeons & Dragons.
