EA has announced the cover stars for the newest iteration of the annual football series EA Sports FC 27, and it is none other than Real Madrid and French international superstar Kylian Mbappé and his Real Madrid teammate and England international rival Jude Bellingham.
EA dropped their gameplay trailer last Thursday, July 23, for the upcoming release, showcasing impressive new features like The Grounds and providing details on the different release editions of the game.
Mbappé and Bellingham have been all over the news in the world of football recently with their performances for their countries at the FIFA World Cup. Mbappé became the all-time leading goalscorer at the World Cup, scoring 10 goals in the recent tournament to bring his total to 22, surpassing World Cup runner-up Lionel Messi.

Not to be outdone, England superstar and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham carried his English squad all the way to the 3rd place medal, scoring 7 goals along the way, and defeating his international rival and club teammate Kylian Mbappé in a 10-goal thriller to take the 3rd place medal.
EA Sports FC 27 will release on September 25, 2026, and will be available in three different editions, each offering different levels of add-on content. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will get you the game itself, a 92+ rated overall Icon card for FC 26, Career mode pre-order challenges, 3 different Icons/Heroes in Manager Career, a 5-star coach in Manager Career, a 5-star Youth Scout in Manager Career, The Grounds Signature Sweatsuit, and additional The Grounds content.
Pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition will get you all of the content from the Standard Edition as well as an FC 27 85+ rated overall Icon, an additional FC 27 Player Evo slot, up to 7 days Early Access, the Season 1 Premium Pass, 6000 FC Points (spread out over 3 months), FC 26 immediate content, and Career & The Grounds content.
Pre-ordering the Ultimate Plus edition will give the same content as the Ultimate edition with some key differences: an additional Hall of FUT Player Pick, Seasons 1-5 Premium Pass, and 10,000 FC points spread over 5 months instead of the 6000 from the Ultimate edition.
The Standard Edition will be available for $89.99 CAD; the Ultimate Edition for $129.99 CAD; and the Ultimate Plus Edition for $199.99 CAD.
