Following the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened massively successful Kickstarter campaign, they’ve announced a very shell shocking message giveaway opportunity.
The developers behind Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has not only fully funded its next title in Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened via Kickstarter, but they’ve announced a unique giveaway on Twitter that supports the ongoing Ukraine war crisis, that can potentially carry a very special message to their “unwanted guests.”
Frogwares is a developer based out of Ukraine and Communications Lead, Sergey Oganesyan said “The overall outpouring of support and kind words for the team through this campaign has been overwhelming. All of our backers have given us something truly positive to focus on and a safety net that allows us to make the game at our own pace. We will forever be indebted to these people who came to our side when it felt like our entire lives were falling apart,” outlining what the Kickstarter support means to the team, which leads to the message with a meaning giveaway.
All fans have to do to enter the sweepstakes is Like and Retweet the aforementioned Frogwares post, and three winners will be selected to choose what the 24th Separate Assault Battalion will write on one of their 152mm howitzer shells used against the visitors of their nation.
Regarding Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, Frogwares Producer Denys Chebotarov said “Based on how production is going and the crowdfunding campaign’s success, it looks like we should be able to release by as soon as February 2023. That’s what we as a team are now aiming for at least. But we want people to understand that anything could change, be it in the country as a whole or just internally with our own team to force us to release later. The priority will always need to need the safety and ability of our team to work above all other choices on when to release,” regarding the impending release.
Frogwares will unleash Sherlock Holmes The Awakened with an ETA of February 2023, with the physical giveaway to the unwanted guests possibly coming sooner than later. Fans still have two more days to jump in on the Kickstarter, so those wanting to snag some sweet swag can go to the page now.
