Game Con Canada Unveils A List Of Special Guests Arriving At The Exciting Expo

Returning next month, Game Con Canada has announced a list of special guests who will attend the exciting expo, including Matthew Lillard, Steven Ogg, Mark Meer, Alyson Tabbitha, and more.  

Kicking off from June 13 to 15, Game Con Canada is a three-day expo for gamers to immerse themselves in the gaming world. As the gamer steps into the expo, meet and have fun with many attendees who share the same passion and enjoy many activities from playing video and board games to attending workshops. Alongside the celebration of gaming, attendees will get to meet many special guests at the expo, ranging from actors to content creators who focus heavily on board games and live-streaming competitive games.

Powered by TELUS, Game Con Canada 2025 is a weekend expo with exciting activities celebrating our love for games. As attendees step into the expo, they will have the chance to play numerous games from video game studios and board game developers, participate in cosplay and esports tournaments for a chance to win cash prizes, attend workshops, and meet various special guests who will join in on the fun. 

One of the most exciting aspects of Game Con Canada is the opportunity to meet many special guests. Ranging from actors to content creators, the special guests that will be attending Game Con Canada 2025 can be seen below:

  • Noura Ibrahim – The official host of GCC 2025.
  • Matthew Lillard – Known for playing Michael Affton in Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023) and Shaggy in Scooby-Doo (2002).
  • Aleks Paunovic – Known for playing Breachman Boscovic in Snowpiercer and Ivan in Hawkeye
  • Alyson Tabbitha – A cosplay content creator and the official host of the GCC 2025 Cosplay Competition.
  • Steven Ogg – Known for his iconic role as Trevor Phillips in Grand Theft Auto V and playing as Simon in AMC’s The Walking Dead.  
  • Avori Henderson – A video game streamer who heavily focuses on competitive games and has appeared in The Mole and Venn Arcade Live
  • Mark Meer – Known for playing Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect franchise and Cabot in Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • Evil Ted – The official cosplay judge at the GCC 2025 and hosting the Foam Armour Workshop. Known for working on The Hunger Games (2012) and Titanic (1997).  
  • Lauren Does Cosplay – A cosplay content creator and the official cosplay judge at GCC 2025.  
  • The Dungeon Dudes – Dungeons & Dragons content creators, hosting the One-Shot Adventure – Dungeons of Drakkenheim.  
  • Taylor’s Tavern Tales – A content creator known for focusing on comedic skits and fantasy POV videos, hosting the One-Shot Adventure – Dragons on a Train
  • BlackwaterDnD – Group of best friends known for playing TTRPGS and telling stories, hosting the One-Shot Adventure – The Mystery of Greensteel with Adam Lucas. 
  • Dicecream Sandwich – A Dungeons & Dragons content creator, hosting the One-Shot Adventure – The Workshop Watches
  • Dungeon Dad – Known for diving into the history of Dungeons & Dragons as a YouTuber, music composer, and professional game master. Hosting the One-Shot Adventure – Escape The Vast
  • ursungirl – A Twitch partner and content creator signed with Luminosity Gaming, live streaming at the MSI Influencer Zone in GCC 2025. 
  • Melmie – A Twitch TV influencer, live streaming at the MSI Influencer Zone in GCC 2025. 
  • Chris Clark – The founder of Inner City Games Design, hosting a live play TTRPG Adventures.

As Game Con Canada continues to excel each year, the team has announced a partnership with Cineplex to broadcast a 30-second commercial in theatres across Alberta. In addition to the commercial, attendees can visit the Cineplex and The Rec Room during Game Con Canada. 

Game Con Canada Powered by TELUS will occur at the Edmonton EXPO Centre from June 13 to 15, 2025. Gamers can visit the official website to learn about this exciting event and purchase admission and add-on tickets.
