An insider recently shared that Halo Campaign Evolved is content-complete, along with other potential details that could be featured in the game.
New insider information on Halo Campaign Evolved has been circulating on the Internet, the same source that discussed the leaked content related to the game’s prequel missions and more. While this information is not credible, since it is not from an official source, it speculates some plausible possibilities. Supposedly, a customizable skin system is in the upcoming reworked game.
RebsGaming’s latest YouTube video provides players with new information regarding Halo Campaign Evolved. The video started off with a small disclaimer about the prequel missions, stating that “the intention was not to spoil” and that there is still a lot of unconfirmed information. RebsGaming went on to talk about the skin system, explaining how the recent Microsoft and Coca-Cola announcement about the Xbox x Fanta collaboration revealed the new Fantastic Spartan Armour for Master Chief.
The announcement stated that some Fanta products will offer armour skins for the upcoming Halo title. They added that this “indirectly confirms that Halo Campaign Evolved includes a custom armour system.” However, there are no microtransactions involved with any of the armours, as Halo Studio already confirmed that there is no shop in the game.

There is a chance this is true, but does sound like a major stretch. The insider’s information on the “skin system” for Master Chief was said to allow players to “change his appearance.” RebsGaming noted that the “custom armours are based on the Mark V, but they have been reshaped and redesigned to look different. Other suits give Chief’s armour a whole new twist, but some could be modified or cut before release”. Players should expect weapon customization, too.”
The part that I can believe the most about RebsGaming’s claims are in regards to Halo Campaign Evolved being “playable from start to finish.” While still using Halo Infinite assets, the insider spoke about the “subtle design changes from what was shown during the reveal”. Moving on to the development build being tested for Halo Campaign Evolved, the insider has been told it is “pretty much content complete and playable from start to finish, including the prequel missions”. This could indicate the game’s release is coming soon, or the game has moved on to cleaning and refining stages in development.
With no official scheduled release date, multiple speculative claims are saying Halo Campaign Evolved will be scheduled to avoid GTA 6‘s release date. Who knows, maybe it could be shadow-dropped at the next summer Xbox Games Showcase. For a game that is essentially a remake, it would not be unheard of. Last year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was shadow-dropped on the same day it was officially revealed. Again, all of these rumours should be taken with a grain of salt until official announcements have been made.
