HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail 2.0, titled If One Dreams at Midnight, gets an official launch date of February 6th, 2024.
Revealed at today’s If One Dreams at Midnight Version 2.0 Special Program, the new version was officially announced. Players will be able to discover all the secrets that Honkai: Star Rail 2.0‘s new realm, Penacony, has to offer, “After pioneering various worlds, such as the Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI, and Xianzhou Luofu, the Crew has received an invitation in the name of The Family to visit Penacony as honoured guests for a grand event called the Charmony Festival.”
Not only will 2.0 bring new maps, companions and storylines, but the team at HoYoverse described a little bit more about what players can expect from the Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 launch, “Version 2.0 also marks the initiation of Penacony’s main Trailblaze Missions. These missions will span from Versions 2.0 to 2.2, and culminate with epilogues in Version 2.3. Moreover, the game has also carried out a series of system optimizations in response to help Trailblazers have a more convenient gaming experience.”
New characters in Version 2.0 will include the 5-star character Black Swan—an oracle and Memokeeper in the Garden of Recollection. 5-star character Sparkle—dubbed the enigmatic Masked Fool—and 4-star character Misha—the doorman at The Reverie. As for gameplay, Trailblazers will be able to better organize each world’s story with a new feature called Fate’s Atlas, Relics will see the enchantment process optimized, and so much more.
Over on the Honkai: Star Rail YouTube page, they dropped the music video for Version 2.0, White Night, which you can see below. The comment section is going wild about the music video, with user @IshimurA99 saying, “They actually made an entire MV just to showcase their new update, which is even better than I thought,” and user @mystyrose saying, “We need this on Spotify. I NEED IT.”
HoYoverse launched Honkai: Star Rail across Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and PC in April 2023. Version 1.6, Crown of the Mundane and Divine, was released on December 27, bringing three new characters to the game.
Honkai: Star Rail 2.0, If One Dreams at Midnight, will be released on February 6, 2024, and is available for PC, Android, iOS, PS5 and the Epic Games Store.
