The Hunt Begins: The Predator comes to Ghost Recon: Wildlands 1

Well this is somewhat unexpected. Ghost Recon: Wildlands and the Predator will be crossing over in an update titled: “The Hunt.”

According to the teaser above, which was released yesterday, not only will the player go up against the Predator of all things, but the update will be released on December 14. So fans only have a couple of days to prepare.

The above trailer shows what appears to be a small group of soldiers wandering around a tropical jungle, only to be picked off one by one by an unseen force.

Some fans won’t be surprised by this revelation, as the Predator has been hinted at in the game itself. However, most would have believed this to be a mere easter egg due to the games location being an often tropical setting similar to that of the original film.

A second trailer was released today, which can be seen above, in which viewers actually got to see the Predator in action, but were also given a glimpse at new gear and gameplay from the event itself.

The update will include: new gear and weapons, wristblades similar to the ones the Predator itself uses, the Predator’s helmet, and a new Predator class for PvP.

“The Hunt” will begin on December 14 for free on all platforms.
