As attendees of IFA 2026 are wowed by myriad new technology advancements, the most important element will be capturing those moments with a capable camera. This year, DJI is showcasing just how far their tech has come with both a camera and smart home solutions.
Debuting on the IFA 2026 show floor, DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today launches Osmo 360 II as well as the ROMO 2 to the global market. The Osmo 360 II features the company’s latest flagship panoramic imaging technology; this next-gen technology was built on the handheld imaging expertise, while the ROMO 2 builds on the spatial perception and smart home expertise established by the first generation.
DJI Osmo 360 II
The DJI Osmo 360 II offers the industry’s first advanced 1-inch square HDR image sensor, maintaining the same 360° image field as a traditional 1-inch rectangular sensor but expanding to 14.5 stops, allowing for double the brightness range. The Osmo 360 II can capture images at120MP HDR 360°. Additionally, an all-new AI noise-reduction algorithm, AI SuperNight 2.0, enables creators to capture exceptionally clean, bright low-light shots, while the camera’s large 2.4 μm pixels and a high-performance chip enable incredibly high-performance video capture.
Users can take advantage of the unit’s 64x Pano Slow Motion—which utilizes DJI Studio’s AI frame interpolation that’s equivalent to cropped 8K/480fps—alongside 8K/120fps Vortex, which allows for smooth high-definition wraparound slow motion with a simple swing. But what really makes the Osmo 360 II stand out is its simple yet sturdy design that allows for a wide variety of usage, from simple day-to-day vlogging to biking or motorcycling, to even diving, capturing up to 10 meters standard, and 50 meters with the Invisible Waterproof Case.
What is most unique to the Osmo 360 II, however, is its all-new replaceable lens design. While both lenses feature an ultra-hard optical film for improved scratch and wear resistance, if one does get damaged, users can easily swap it out and return to capturing whatever moments they’re creating. Pair that with easy integration into the DJI ecosystem and a quick charger, and creators will have a camera that’s easy to set up and ready to go as soon as they are.
DJI ROMO 2
In addition to the Osmo 360 II, DJI debuted its brand-new smart vacuum, the DJI ROMO 2—an all-new AI robot vacuum and mop with next-generation cleaning intelligence. The ROMO 2 brings millimetre-level obstacle sensing powered by the same drone technology behind DJI’s flagship aircraft. The ROMO 2 is built to deliver an AI-driven, all-scenario cleaning solution—able to distinguish between debris and liquid and switch between vacuum or mop accordingly.
The ROMO 2 has had its perception system built from the ground up, allowing it to achieve obstacle avoidance as low as 2mm. Not only that, the smart vacuum is able to mimic “human-like reasoning and concept transfer to generalize from what it has learned during previous use.” On top of this, its robotic legs cross single-step obstacles up to 4 cm and double-step obstacles up to 8.5 cm. Its LiDAR-Guided Adaptive Robotic Arm utilizes a 123° ultra-wide swing to reach 7.8 cm wider and mop 4.5 cm deeper under floating furniture than the previous generation.
When the ROMO 2 is done cleaning, it returns to its powerful yet minimalist docking station. The washboard features a nanocrystalline surface that helps resist stain buildup, while grime is flushed away by four high-pressure water jets and a large 16 mm waste suction port. In addition, the DJI ROMO 2 also supports 55W fast charging, reaching a full charge in just 2.5 hours, meaning it’s always ready to tackle a mess when its users need it.
