The debut trailer for the upcoming sequel Jurassic World Rebirth has been revealed, showcasing series newcomers Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali in action.

Universal Pictures has revived dinosaurs for films again. Today, the debut trailer for the latest film in the Jurassic World film franchise, Jurassic World Rebirth, launched, showcasing the fate of the world five years after the initial World trilogy ended. The previous trilogy, lead by Chris Pratt, brought back Jurassic Park cast members reprising their roles from the 1993 hit with Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill returning to the Jungle. The latest trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth includes a brand new cast of characters (no Chris Pratt confirmed) and can be seen below.

The trailer sets the stakes for Jurassic World Rebirth, as the newly formed team of explorers head straight for an island that houses dinosaurs ‘too dangerous’ to let loose in the park. The team then surprisingly discovers the new dangerous dinosaur island is the original research facility for Jurassic Park. Their mission is to secure DNA from three of the deadliest dinosaur eggs in an effort to help create a drug that could save countless lives. Of course, plans fall apart, and dinosaurs become adversaries during the adventure. Covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Johansson) can be seen utilizing a front kick on a toothy adversary in what the trailer calls a “new era.”
