A few weeks ago Nintendo announced that a special edition 3DS XL for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds would be coming to Europe. Today, it has finally been announced for North America as well.
The 3DS XL will be released at the same time as the title on November 22nd. The XL comes in a bundle with a digital version of the title. The actual system is gold with triforce graphics on the front and back. The bundle will sell for $220, ultimately saving $20 on the game itself.
The game itself is a throwback to classic Zelda games with a top-down view. It is also the spiritual successor to The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. A Link Between Worlds is coming exclusively to the 3DS. Be sure to check back later for CGMagazine’s review.
