Mario Kart 8 doesn’t come out until Friday, but there are already some DLC plans. Earlier today a commercial confirmed some free Mercedes DLC for Mario Kart 8 in Japan.
The commercial shows world 1-1 from Super Mario Bros. but instead of running like a chump, Mario hops in a Mercedes GLA and drives through the stage. As he jumps over the flagpole, the 8 bit graphics turn into real footage. The car stops and the most jacked up Mario ever steps out of the car and walks into a Goomba. There are also some screens of Mario Driving his new Mercedes too.
So far, this DLC is Japan only. We’ve reached out to Nintendo to see if there are any plans, but they have not responded yet.
