The Final Wish

Auto Draft

Today, Bungie has announced the surfacing of a new dungeon, the second in the Destiny 2: Lightfall expansion; Warlord’s Ruin is coming, and Guardians can seek out the extinct Ahamkara.

A new dungeon is coming for Guardians to take a crack at: Destiny 2: Warlord’s Ruin is coming. Guardians will have to overcome challenges within to lay claim to the bones of an Ahamkara, an extinct race of dragons that can grant wishes. Bungie has also torn the curtain off a brand-new dungeon trailer, which can be seen below.

“Death is not the end for an Ahamkara,” the trailer can be heard hauntingly saying, as Guardians attempt to infiltrate Warlord’s Ruin. Guardians brave enough to face the perils of the dungeon can lay claim to a new Void Exotic Sidearm, Buried Bloodline, if they’re lucky enough. As with other dungeons, Warlord’s Ruin is expected to drop the dungeon-exclusive exotic at an undetermined rate, so fans aren’t guaranteed to obtain one.

Destiny 2 data miners have allegedly figured out the perks for the new exotic as well if fans are curious. TheLoadout lists them as:

  • Intrinsic – Hungering Quarrel
    • Fires two tracking bolts that leech health from the target
  • Trait – Violent Reanimation
    • Rapid final blows with this weapon grant Devour to the wielder

Destiny 2 Guardians who triumph over Warlord’s Ruin before the June 3 cut off time can also claim one of these reversible vests or title pins on offer from the Bungie Rewards store. The latest destiny 2 season, the Season of the Wish is already underway, and the story sees Awoken Leader Mara Sov make a deal with what is referred to as the last Ahamkara, Riven, to reveal the path inside of the Traveler.

A New Destiny 2 Dungeon, Warlord’s Ruin Has Been Announced

Guardians can face the new dungeon right now, as it is open for all players to plunder. The dungeon has launched right on the heels of the upcoming The Final Shape delay, which aims to conclude the light and dark saga. Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches on June 4, 2024.
