The previously announced reboot of the Evil Dead franchise has shown its teeth in a small teaser, with a full trailer to be released later today.

The deadite scourge seems to have fully resurfaced, as the new teaser for Evil Dead Rise has made its way to Twitter yesterday. The most striking detail on the new teaser is the promise that a brand new full length trailer will follow-up today. Fans can find the Tweet announcement and the teaser below.

With the new trailer set to launch pretty much at anytime Wednesday, there is an interesting poll going on via the very same Twitter that launched the teaser. There is a poll on whether fans would like to see the green band or red band trailer, and to the surprise of absolutely no one, with currently just under 14k votes the red band trailer is winning by a landslide 93.5%. Evil Dead Rise has even shown fans a glimpse of the new movie poster.

Fans of the longstanding Evil Dead series wont have to wait much longer, as the newest film unleashes The Book of the Dead again on April 21. The new film is executive produced by series mainstays Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. Unfortunately, in the current credits, Campbell’s Ash Williams, or other mainstay protagonist Mia Allen aren’t slotted to make an appearance in the film, but there’s no telling whether there will be an under-wraps cameo from the Campbell, similar to the hot-dog cart vendor in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

While the full trailer will release at any point Wednesday, Evil Dead Rise is Directed by Lee Cronin with a star-studded cast of Alyssa Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Morgan Davies, Nell Fisher, Jayden Daniels, Gabrielle Echols, Billy Reynolds-McCarthy, and Tai Wano taking the reigns.
