Today OnePlus announced the Oneplus Nord N20 5G will be available for purchase in North America on April 28.
Featuring 5G technology and an AMOLED display, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner, the Nord N20 will be available in the US via T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile as its exclusive partner. There’s no word yet on what carrier will have the phone in Canada yet.
The Nord N20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Platform, allowing OnePlus to bring efficient and reliable 5G technology to all. It also has an always-on feature with an all-day 4,500 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. This allows the OnePlus NordN20 5G to provide users with a day’s power in just half an hour.
The device also has 6GB of RAM which allows users to blaze through their apps and content simultaneously, with it even supporting graphically intense gaming. The camera is a 64MP main camera, with a monochrome lens, and macro lens. Users won’t have to worry about storage either as the phone comes with 128GB of storage and can be expanded to 512GB.
The Nord N20 runs on OxygenOS, which gives users the ability to explore system icons, dynamic icons, and other wallpaper features on Android 11. In terms of availability, if you live in the US, you can get the phone starting at $37.50 a month for 24 months with $0 down on T-Mobile. As mentioned earlier, no details regarding Canadian pricing are available at this time. However, hopefully we will hear more about a global launch in the coming months.
The Nord N20 only comes in one colour, black, and is scheduled to ship between April 19 and April 22 according to T-Mobile’s website in the US. T-Mobile is also America’s largest and fastest 5G network according to their press release. OnePlus, is a global mobile technology brand founded in China on December 13, 2013. In terms of the reception of OnePlus’ most recent products, TechRader ranked the OnePlus 10 Pro calling it the “best OnePlus phone ever” giving it four and a half stars.
