The Japanese retailer Rakuten has announced that the upcoming fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will have an RPG-like DLC story mode.
In Golden Arena Mode, players will be able to gain experience points and level up characters as they use them in fights, as well as being able to earn items that will help them in battle.
As a character levels up, they’ll gain new skills to also use in battle. There are apparently over 150 different skills for characters to learn.
The Golden Arena DLC will be included with the first copies of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in Japan when it releases on August 28th on Playstation 3.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will release in North America later this fall.
