XBOX Games Showcase 2026: Persona 6 Teaser Trailer Announced, But No Release Information

Atlus officially announced Persona 6 at the XBOX Games Showcase 2026.

Atlus came back with a second reveal, following the Persona 4 Revival spotlight. Persona 6 has officially been confirmed at the XBOX Games Showcase 2026. The teaser trailer showcased a graveyard full of headstones and concluded with a Persona 6 logo reveal. From a story perspective, this does not say much or why there was one big headless statue within the graveyard field. Unfortuantely, there was no release date or window revealed yet.

The Persona 6 trailer details read: “An entirely new story is about to unfold. The highly anticipated next chapter of the iconic RPG series delivers a bold, new standalone story blending heartfelt daily life and new characters with pulse-pounding, supernatural adventure. Whether it’s your first Persona game or you’ve been here since the beginning, this one’s for you.

There have not been a lot of exact details about Persona 6, but some insiders hinted at an announcement coming—making sense for the XBOX Games Showcase 2026 to be the perfect platform. He looks a lot like Bebe from Persona 3, while the female character has black-and-red hair in a bob cut. There have been conflicting rumours that Persona 6 would feature dual protagonists…”

A follow-up to 2016’s Persona 5, the next entry in the celebrated role-playing game franchise will launch on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. No release date or specific narrative direction was shown.
