The Pokémon Company has just revealed upcoming plans for their cozy life simulator, Pokémon Pokopia, and fans will be able to wish upon the Mythical Pokémon Jirachi!
A third-generation Mythical Pokémon is coming to Pokémon Pokopia, and it will be one fans can instantly recognize. The Wish Pokémon, Jirachi, will be making its debut in post-apocalyptic Kanto, and the event will kick off next week. To get things started, Ditto merely has to waddle over to Jirachi to get a recipe for wish notes. Afterwards, fans can enjoy the game as usual. When Ditto interacts with other Pokémon and fulfills their requests, players can transform wish notes into sparkling wish notes. Jirachi will be findable at any Pokémon Center of choice to exchange sparkling wish notes, and these notes can be traded for furniture and décor inspired by the starry sky (where Jirachi is from).

The only requirement to get things started is to make sure you have at least one Pokémon Center restored, as Jirachi can only visit towns with rebuilt Centers (the Mythical Pokémon can even appear behind the counter). On top of the new event, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have introduced a new upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 bundle for fans who have yet to adopt Nintendo’s latest console, which includes a copy of Pokémon Pokopia.
The bundle will include the Nintendo Switch 2 console and a digital copy of the game. Unfortunately, aside from the box the console comes in, the outer shell remains unchanged from the base model, and it will be exclusive to Europe. It will be made available on the Nintendo Store and select retail partners on July 2.

For those who already have a Nintendo Switch 2, the “Wish Upon A Jirachi” event for Pokémon Pokopia starts on June 23, 2026 and will conclude on July 8, 2026. So fans can jump into sparkly note retrieval next week!
