PUBG Corporation announced that Intel is now their official worldwide sponsor for #PGI2018.
The PUBG Global Invitational 2018 is PUBG Corporation’s first major international tournament that they are organizing. It is an event where 20 teams face off against each other for a share of a $2,000,000 USD prize pool. Located in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in in Berlin, Germany, competitors will duke it out over four days to claim victory.
Intel will be powering all of PUBG Global Invitational 2018’s tournaments with PCs. These PCs have 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700k processors, which will help in player performance and gameplay.
The PUBG tournament will be held between July 25 and 29, and there will be special zones and events for fans as well during these four days. Event zone one will have a PUBG Play Zone, where players can experience the game on mobile, take photos, have fun with tattoo stickers, check out some PUBG merchandise, and lucky draws and an activity where fans can predict the daily winner for a chance to win prizes.
Meanwhile, The next zone gives fans a chance to play against a streamer, meet a famous streamer, as well as get an autograph and a photo. A special match for streamers and pro-players will occur on the Sanhok map on July 27 as well.
