Remedy Provides A Content Roadmap For Control 2

Remedy released a brief roadmap for Control’s upcoming content, including two expansions, a new game mode, and a photo mode.

Publisher 505 Games and its partner, the renowned developer Remedy Entertainment, today announced a host of upcoming post-launch content for the award-winning Control. Critics are calling Control, which launched globally on August 27th, “one of the best games of 2019” (TIME Magazine) and “a game we’ll be talking about for generations” (GamesRadar). CGMagazine gave the game an 8.5/10, citing excellent gameplay and stunning visuals as the key elements of a fantastic game.

A show that good must go on, and go on it shall. In fall 2019, a Photo Mode is on its way, and in December, a new, extra-challenging Expeditions mode will be added for free. Come early 2020 and mid 2020, two paid expansions will release for the game. The first, called The Foundation, will examine the Oldest House’s history as Jesse delves into areas beneath the Bureau. The second, AWE, will see Jesse venture into the Investigations Sector, where the Bureau closely examines Altered World Events. The game will also be receiving patches in the meanwhile to smooth out the technical issues it’s had on weaker hardware.

Control is out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Epic Games store, with a Steam version coming down the line. We’ll report on the game’s bigger updates when more details are released.
