Samsung has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring 8K resolution theatre trailers to their latest Neo QLED 8K screens at retailers, showcasing the TV line’s capabilities.
Today, a new partnership has been announced between Samsung and Warner Bros. Pictures, and this partnership will bring highly-anticipated movie trailers to their latest Neo QLED 8K screen TV line in more than 65,000 locations globally. This partnership seeks to showcase the prowess of the 2023 Neo QLED 8K TV lineup in retail locations, showing audiences how their favourite films would look on the newer displays. It’s worth noting the partnership had already undergone a trial period with the blockbuster film CREED III‘s trailer across more than 450 retail stores in the United States and Europe earlier this year to “significant attention and enthusiasm from audiences worldwide.”
Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, Cheolgi Kim, said, “This partnership is an exciting step forward for 8K content, showcasing Neo QLED 8K’s capabilities and getting consumers excited about seeing films in cinematic quality,” with “Collaborating with Warner Bros. allows Samsung to show consumers how ultra-premium TV technology can take their favourite films to a whole new level” regarding the huge team up.
Warner Bros. Pictures has many films on its slate to showcase trailers for Samsung Neo QLED 8K displays. The movie trailers retail location shoppers can expect to see are some of WB’s heaviest hitters in Barbie, Blue Beetle, Dune: Part Two, Wonka and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. For those in the market for a new TV, this may be the first time viewers come into contact with the new films coming from Warner Bros. Pictures, so the deal is a win-win for both parties.
