Spy X Family Film Releases Overseas Theatrical Show Dates 2

Takashi Katagiri directs SPY x FAMILY CODE: White at WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks, with the original story by manga author Tatsuya Endo and screenplay by Ichiro Okouchi. The film released in Japan on December 22, 2023. The two seasons can be streamed on Crunchyroll, if you need to catch up. However, most anime films have their own storylines so you may not need to necessarily finish both seasons completely to understand the plot.

Based on the trailer, the family looks to be on a winter vacation filled with all kinds of shenanigans and explosions. Just the usual for this busy body family. It really is like Mr. & Mrs. Smith but with a telepathic kid! The trailer also showed off a new antagonist which appears to be someone from the Ostania military, so maybe Loid and the family will have a run-in with Yor’s brother Yuri Briar. There is never a dull moment for the Forger family. Here is the description of the film provided on Crunchyroll:

“He’s a spy. She’s an assassin. Together, Loid and Yor keep their double lives to themselves while pretending to be the perfect family. However, their adopted daughter Anya, a telepath, knows both of their exciting secrets unbeknownst to them. While under the guise of taking his family on a weekend winter getaway, Loid’s attempt to make progress on his current mission Operation Strix proves difficult when Anya mistakenly gets involved and triggers events that threaten world peace!”

Be sure to double check those dates and your local movie theater showtimes for more details on Spy x Family Code: White!
