Suicide Squad, Deadpool, and X-Men: Apocalypse Trailers Released

The San Diego Comic Con trailers are always something to get excited about. While they’re supposed to remain within the convention, people do record and leak them. Suicide Squad, Deadpool, and X-Men: Apocalypse are no different. Watch them below before they get taken down.

The dark trailer features shots of the villains marching together, Harley Quinn in a cage, Deadshot, and a bit of The Joker. It’s nice to finally see some footage of The Joker with sound this time. Although Jared Leto’s shot was very short, his one liner brought excitement from the crowd. Leto’s portrayal of Joker was heavily criticized, but until some more footage comes out we can’t be too quick to make judgements.

The trailer shown was pretty much what I was expecting: something witty, action packed, and breaking the fourth wall. Deadpool is the first superhero film to get a mature rating, but considering it is Deadpool, it makes sense. While the trailer is exciting, Ryan Reynolds Tweeted there will be something else in two weeks.

X-Men: Apocalypse

With only five weeks worth of filming, a trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse was shown. It features the likes of Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), and Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), to name a few. The trailer is dialogue heavy, but doesn’t give much of an idea of what’s going on other than the fact that mutants used to be treated like gods.

What do you make of the trailers? Comment below and tell me what you think.
