TEKKEN 8 Keeps Character Reveals Hot With Shaheen Trailer Reveal

All aboard the TEKKEN 8 hype train. As fans edge closer to the impending release of the next King of the Iron Fist Tournament, more characters are revealing themselves somehow; this time, TEKKEN 8 revealed Shaheen!

The developers over at Bandai Namco have made it an art form to reveal characters for the upcoming TEKKEN 8, and after they released the official roster for opening day, it felt as though the roster was complete. But today, Bandai kept the hits coming by bringing back a fan-favourite character from TEKKEN 7, Shaheen. Bandai has rolled out the red carpet for the new addition (as they do) and made the announcement with a hype-filled trailer, complete with what Shaheen is capable of. That trailer can be seen below.

Shaheen looks to have improved on his move set from the previous title while keeping the moves that have him step on his opponent in TEKKEN 8. While gameplay overall appears improved for the character, his Rage Art shows him ‘board’ his opponent and skate along on their back, finishing up with a massive high jump kick. Fans who have given this character a serious look in TEKKEN 7 can see there have been FPS improvements on Shaheen’s ‘poke’ attacks, providing a slightly faster rate of kicks than before. Fans can find the entire confirmed TEKKEN 8 roster below, including Shaheen.
