The Elden Ring film from A24 is in full production, and more set photos have leaked, adding more information about the film’s plot from the locations that seem undoubtedly included in the film.
Two weeks have passed since Nick Offerman was confirmed for The Lands Between in A24’s new Elden Ring-based film, and as fans have been anticipating more details regarding the production (which is in full swing), it appears the details have come to the fans first.
In an article published by Shortlist, numerous photos that appear to be from the A24 Elden Ring film production set have surfaced, revealing some key designs surrounding the architecture of The Lands Between. Production is taking place at the Greenwich Naval College in South London, and the leaked photos reveal an aesthetic fans would expect from an Elden Ring adaptation. Some set photos include shots of green screen usage, potentially to include the larger-than-life depth the player’s Tarnished can experience in-game (and to maybe stuff the towering Erdtree in the background). The set photos can be seen below (spoiler warning from here on out) as shown by Shortlist and posted to Reddit.
The set photos are numerous and reveal the crumbling foundation seen in The Lands Between. A picture of a box on the set reads “Leyndell Streets,” which implies the royal capital city of Leyndell, located at the foot of the Erdtree, will appear in the film. Photos also show a separate box marked Stormveil (after another iconic location in-game). Another image includes props that suggest the Academy of Raya Lucaria is being adapted. A striking photo of a gallows-in-waiting suggests the loathsome Dung Eater may also make an appearance on the silver screen. What has been confirmed by A24 (so far) is the cast for Elden Ring, and that is listed below.
- Kit Connor (Warfare, Hearstopper)
- Ben Whishaw (Skyfall, Perfume, Paddington)
- Cailee Spaeny (Alien: Romulus, Pricilla, Civil War)
- Tom Burke (Furiosa, Mank)
- Havana Rose Liu (Tuner, Bottoms)
- Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina, Annihilation)
- Jonathan Pryce (Brazil, Pirates of the Caribbean)
- Ruby Cruz (For All Mankind, Bottoms)
- Nick Offerman (The Last of Us)
- John Hodgkinson (Skyfall)
- Jefferson Hall (House of the Dragon, Oppenheimer)
- Emma Laird (28 Years Later, The Brutalist)
- Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars: Episode I)

Fans have commented below the set photos on Reddit, dropping their excitement over the locations set to be adapted, and everyone appears to think the set photos and props that appear in them are “peak”. One fan writes,”I’m genuinely excited and curious to see how and what they’re gonna work into the movie,” and as of this post, so does everyone else.
The Elden Ring film is in full production by A24 films.
